2022-2023 was a theatrical rebound for new work in Ohio. Although not comprehensive, here is a look at many of the new works that had a world premiere in Ohio this past season.

In May of 2022, DOG by Brian David Walker and directed by Torie Pate premiered at Cincinnati LAB Theatre. This is a play about four people whose lives intersect over a dog. It’s about trying to get back what’s lost and examines how sometimes people can act like dogs and dogs can act like people.
